Patrick Vall, DVM, DAVDC

Patrick Vall, DVM, DAVDC is a born and raised Buckeye and graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He spent the first 17 years of his career in general practice and emergency medicine. In 2015 he followed his passion and became board certified by the American Veterinary Dental College. He became the owner of Animal Dental Care and Oral Surgery in 2017. Dr. Vall is a past president of the Colorado Springs Area Veterinary Society and the 2020 President of Chapter 7 of the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Vall stays busy with his wife raising 4 children, one dog and one cat. He loves Colorado and enjoys hiking, climbing and snowboarding with his family and friends. He has summited over 40 of Colorado’s 14,000 ft peaks, Mt. Rainier in Washington and Carrauntoohil, the highest mountain in Ireland. He is an avid sports fan and follower of his Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland professional teams.

MJ Redman DVM, DAVDC

MJ Redman DVM, DAVDC is originally from Connecticut and graduated from Brown University and Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

She worked in general practice in Arizona and Washington before specializing in veterinary dentistry. She completed her American Veterinary Dental CollegeTM residency program at Animal Dental Center of Baltimore and officially became a Board-Certified Veterinary DentistTM in 2015.

Dr. Redman worked at MissionVet Specialty & Emergency in San Antonio, Texas, before later joining Animal Dental Care and Oral Surgery. She has extensive experience in oral medicine and surgery. In addition, she is an accomplished lecturer and instructor in veterinary dentistry.

She loves the outdoors and spending time with her husband, 2 dogs, and 6 cats. Her activities include mountain and gravel biking and masters swimming.

John Huff, DVM, FAVD, DAVDC

John Huff, DVM, FAVD, DAVDC is a Colorado native and graduate of Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Huff’s professional achievements include traveling to England to help eradicate foot and mouth disease.He has special training in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery and is a Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College.

Outside of work he enjoys skiing, snowboarding, music, hiking and camping. He has built a wood strip canoe, two guitars and has climbed all of Colorado’s 14,000 foot peaks.

Melissa Guillory, DVM

Melissa Guillory, DVM is originally from Louisiana and is a graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada. She was in general and feline-specific practice for in Alaska, Montana and Colorado for several years prior to deciding to focus solely on dentistry. She has embarked on a rigorous 3-year dental residency program with the goal of being board certified by the American Veterinary Dental College. She is very passionate about providing great oral health for all patients and has a particular interest in feline oral disease. In addition to dentistry, she enjoys teaching yoga, reading, and spending time outdoors with her husband, Jesse (also a veterinarian) and her dog, Louie. Her two cats prefer to conserve their energy and avoid hiking by staying indoors, but do enjoy helping her read and study about dentistry.

Davin Ringen, DVM

Davin Ringen is a graduate of Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine (2007). He spent the first 4 years of his career working in equine and food animal practice, completing a 3-year residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine (Food Animal) at the University of Missouri, College of Veterinary Medicine. In 2012, shortly after moving to Denver, Colorado he switched the path of his career and began working in small animal general practice. Almost daily, Dr. Ringen witnessed the improvements made in patients’ lives through good oral care. He quickly made the decision to focus his career on veterinary dentistry and pursue a 3-year dental residency training program through the American Veterinary Dental College.

In addition to veterinary medicine, Dr. Ringen enjoys spending time with his loved ones and his dog named Jill. He is a lover of the outdoors and enjoys fly fishing, mountain biking, running, skiing, cooking and reading. When not working he tries to fill his free time doing one of these activities!
