Lecture
- The 12-step Comprehensive Oral Health Assessment and Treatment
- Oral pathology and basic dental anatomy
- The anesthetized oral exam
- Performing, and correcting dental radiographs
- Radiographic interpretation
Wet Lab
- Obtaining diagnostic radiographs utilizing canine and feline cadaver specimens
- Oral exam/charting
- Hand instrumentation usage and importance
- Discussion of treatment plans and navigating those conversations
This workshop will empower veterinarians by increasing their knowledge in many aspects of veterinary dentistry and implement a higher level of dental care in a general practice setting.
